A public information workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, June 26, 2019, from 6-8 PM in Bridgeport’s South End on the corner of Whiting Street and Main Street.

Join the Resilient Bridgeport Team for a brief walking tour of the potential coastal flood defense system location in the South End neighborhood of Bridgeport. Virtual reality will show participants the size and appearance options for the potential flood protection structure and the flood risk reduction benefits it would bring. Participants are encouraged to ask questions and share feedback with the project team regarding community preferences for what the flood protection structure should look like.

This meeting is designed for residents and local businesses to learn more about the progress of the coastal flood defense system in the South End of Bridgeport and will include:
